What are safety precautions?
Safety precautions are action taken in
advance to protect us against possible
danger, injury or illness. These safety
precautions are to be considered in
planning activities suited for the weather
conditions.

follow during each kind of weather.
Sunny Days
1. Use light colored or thin clothes to
feel comfortable.
2. Go on a picnic with our family.
3. Use umbrella or hat when the sun
is hot or bright.
4. Hang clothes to dry.
5. Eat fruits & drink plenty of water
for refreshing.
Rainy Days
1. Play or study inside the house.
2. Use umbrella or raincoat & boots
if you read to go out.
3. Wear dark colored and thick
clothes.
Stormy Days
1. Stay at home & store enough food
& drinking water.
2. Use thick blankets during cold
weather.
3. Use jacket or sweater to keep our
body warm.
4. Prepare flash lights, candles, water
or emergency kit.
5. Listen to news or weather forecast
or PAGASA if there is an
incoming typhoon.
Windy Day
1. Watch out for fallen trees or
objects.
2. Do not go swimming at the sea.
3. Do not burn dried leaves.
4. Do not go for a walk under the
trees.
5. Do not go boating at the sea.

Directions: Show & say DEAL if the
safety Precautions is for Sunny Days and
NO DEAL if it is not.

Use the “CLAP IT”
Direction: Identify the weather condition
that would with the safety precaution
listed in each number, CLAP 1 time if it is
RAINY, 2 times STORMY, 3 times for
SUNNY, 4 times for WINDY, 5 times for
CLOUDY.
1. Drink plenty of water to keep you
hydrated during bright day.
2. Use raincoat and boots, and stay
away from flooded areas.
3. Watch out flying branches of trees
or objects when there is strong
wind.
4. Pour out the rain waters in tries,
cans, or pots to avoid creating
mosquito breeding ground.
