Southern Leyte at 1:00 in the afternoon held on the 18th day of December 2023 at Casao Barangay
Session Hall, Bontoc, Southern Leyte.

I- Call to order

Hon. John Rey M. Olayvar called to order the second session of the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Casao at 1:00 in the afternoon on December 18, 2023 at the Casao barangay hall.

II- Roll call

Appointed secretary Mr. Andrew C. Tumala conducted the roll call. The above-stated persons
were present

III- Reading and approval of the minutes from the last meeting

The reading and approval of the minutes was conducted of our newly appointed secretary Mr.
Andrew C. Tumala

IV- Calendar of business

B. Predetermined business/Agenda

Agenda Highlights/Agreement
1. Appointment of SK secretary and SK The SK chairman, in concurrence with the SK
treasurer. council appointed Mr. Andrew C. Tumala and Mr.
John Felix M. Salazar as SK secretary and
treasurer respectively.

2. Parol Making Contest The SK council will provide an activity for the
upcoming Christmas, this activity will show that
the youth of barangay Casao can create a creative
parol using recycled material.

 Guidelines
-By purok entry/at least 1 parol
-Must be approx. 4ft diameter, 5ft length
-Must be using 70% recyclable or
indigenous materials.
-Any parol is required as long as
appropriate for Christmas
-The final output of the parol will be
posted
-The grand winners will be announced
and awarded on the 24th night of
December.

Resourcefulness----------15%
Lightning Impact--------- 10%
People’s Choice-----------10%

V- Committee Reports
The committee of Sports and Development Mr. Carlo O. Traya, reported that the basketball team
of barangay Casao 18 under will be participating in the Invitational Basketball League at Barangay Libas,
Sogod, Southern Leyte.
VII- Adjournment

Hon. Edgardo C. Pontod adjourned the session and seconded by Hon. Carlo O. Traya. The
meeting was adjourned at 3:30 pm.
