JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A WEB DEVELOPER
Your Responsibilities as a Web Developer would be:
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices when
necessary.
• Create website layout/user interface.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation such as SaaS applications.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling website.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and
activities.
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual, design intent.
• Assist the web development team with all aspects of website design.
• Assist with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.
• Brainstorm new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.
• Collaborate with developers to implement new web features.
• Be up to date with the latest technology and programming trends.
• Interpret client specifications and identifying website user requirements.
• Create time frames and work schedules to meet deadlines.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create website layout/user interface.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Initiate and maintain frequent communication with web design team and company leadership.
• Create and maintain highly organized files.
Qualifications as a Web Developer:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar discipline is strongly
preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in SaaS applications, web development/programming or
similar industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Strong background on Figma.
• Plugin experience should include: membership, custom post types, e-commerce, email integration,
speed and website optimization, social and video and mapping APIs, google APIs. LMS plugin
experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Search Engine Optimization.
• Strong programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
• Extensive understanding of web design and development principles.
• In-depth knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web
application development.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on experience with content management systems.
• Strong conceptual thinking, resourceful, diligent, and has keen attention to details.
