COST AUDIT REPORT


AIM:
To prepare a cost audit report and perform the programme by using Ms-word.
ALGORITHM:
STEP 1: To start Ms-word select all programmes Ms-office Ms-word.
STEP 2: Open a new document. Type above three paragraphs above cost audit
report.
STEP 3: Select the first paragraph, change the alignment to right by selecting
formatting toolbar=>alignment right or click.
STEP 4: Select the important words change into bold by selecting font=> font
style => bold or Ctrl +B or B.
STEP 5: Select the paragraph=>alignment=> Center or Ctrl +E or select the
important words, click into italic by selecting font =>font style=>italic or I.
STEP 6: Select the third paragraph and change into two column paragraph by
selecting page layout=>column and then select into two column format.
STEP 7: Insert date, time and page of number by selecting insert=>Header and
toolbar=>insert date and time in the top of the page. Insert page number in the
bottom of the page.
STEP 8: Change the character spacing for heading by selecting
format=>font=>character spacing=>spacing=>expanded.
STEP 9: Save and close the document.

RESULT:
Thus, the required cost audit report is performed by using Ms-word.

STEP 4: Checking spelling and grammar by selecting review- spelling and
grammar.

insert=>text=>drops caps.
STEP 7: save and close the document.

ALGORITHM:

STEP: 1 To start MS-word select start -> all programmes -> MS- office -> MS-
word.

STEP: 2 Open a new document or file by selecting file menu -> new -> blank
-> document -> create.

STEP: 3 Create a table by selecting Insert -> table.

STEP: 4 Enter the number of rows and columns required in the table dialog
box and click ok.

STEP: 5 Type the balance sheet information of the company in the created
table.

STEP: 6 Insert or delete rows and columns by selecting Insert -> Table Tools
-> Layout -> Rows and columns delete or insert.

STEP: 7 Change the border of the table at the top and bottom of by selecting
table -> table tools -> design -> border and shading.

STEP: 8 Do also formatting of tables by selecting table tools -> layout.

STEP: 9 Change the background of the heading color.

STEP:10 Save and close the file.

current document.
STEP 6:For selecting the recipients click type a new list in step 3 and create

STEP3: Activate The Cell To Type The Customer Name, Nature, of Account,

Enter The Details for the Customer.

STEP4: Enter The Details of Deposits and Withdrawals Made by the Customer
To Find Out The Balance Name the Next Column as Balance and enter “=” in

the Mouse.

STEP2: Open a New Blank sheet By Selecting File=> New=> Blank


WorkSheet.

STEP3: Activate the Cells and Type the name of the employee, Department,
Net pay and City. Enter Record, often Employee.

STEP4: To Copy the Details of Production Department Employees in Sheet the


Column, Department and Click Data=> Filter=>Production, Select the Data and
to Copy It Click Home=> Copy or Press Ctrl + c .Then go to Sheet No.1 and
Parts the data By Choosing Parte or Ctrl+v.

STEP5: Similarity Copy The Details by Employees Staying In Coimbatore

AIM:

To Prepare PayRoll and for Employees Using Ms-excel.

ALGORITHM

STEP1: To Start Ms-Excel. Select Start=> Programs=>Ms-Excel.

STEP2: Open a New Worksheet by Selecting File=>New=>blank Worksheet.

STEP3: Select a cell to activate it and Type name of the Employees basic pay.

STEP4: Type the Column Heading as DA and Enter Value Type “=” and
Select The First Cell in pay multiply by 30 and Divide by 100. In The Same
Meaning do HRA, CCA, EDF and LIC.

STEP5: To find out the gross pay insert a Column after CCA and Name it as
Gross pay Select the Column Basic pay DA, HRA, CCA and Click Autosum
orZ.

STEP6: To Find out The Net pay insert a Column After ITC and Name it as net
pay From The Gross pay Column minus the EPF and LIC to get the Net pay.

STEP7: To Find out the Sum of Gross Pay and net pay of all the employees
Select the respective Column and Click Sum or E.

STEP8: Save and Close the Document.

STEP 1: To start MS-Excel, select start=> Program=> MS-Office =>

STEP 2: Open a New worksheet by selecting File=> New=> Worksheet.

STEP 3: Activate the cells and type year and sales of a product.

STEP 4: To Insert a chart showing trend Analysis select Insert=> Chart=>Line


chart.

STEP 5: To change the X axis as year go to chart=>tools=>Layout=> Access


Title and select title below access and type as year.

STEP 6: Right click in the chart area and click select data=> Exit=> Select
access Range=> year 2003 to 2014 give ok.

STEP 7: To change “Y” axis as sales go to chart tools=> Layout=> Access

AIM:

To prepare a Break Even Chart using chart Wizard.

ALGORITHM:

STEP1: To start MS-Excel select start=> Program=> MS-Office=>MS-Excel.

STEP2: Open a new work sheet By Selecting File=> new=>blank worksheet.

STEP3: Activate the cells and type in the columns output units, variable cost
Per unit, selling price per unit and fixed cost.

STEP4: Find out total variable cost by the multiplying output units and
variable Cost and total fixed cost. Find out total revenue by multiplying output
Units and selling price per unit.

STEP5: Select total cost, fixed cost and total revenue to insert=>Chart=>line
Chart.

STEP6: Change “X” Axis as output units “Y” axis as rupees and chart title
break Even chart.

STEP7: To find out the break even print insert data by clicking chart
tools=>Layout=>data labels=>above. The point where total cost and total
Revenue insert is the Breakeven point.

STEP8: Save and close the Worksheet.

STEP2: Open a new Work Sheet by selecting File=>New=>Blank Work Sheet.

STEP3: Activate the cells and enter the name of the company number of equity
Shares Debit and Interest.

STEP4: To Calculate Earnings before Tax given Formula =EBITX 10/100

STEP5: Name of next column as tax and given formula =EBITX 10/100.

STEP6: Earning After Tax=EBT-tax.

STEP7: To Calculate Earnings per share decide earnings after Tax dividend
By number of equity shares.

above 100 go to formulas=> more Functions=> Starts cal => COONT/E.
