Task Description: In this assessment, learners will delve into various aspects of modern web and mobile
development technologies, website design, SEO techniques, website technologies and tools, multimedia
content creation, and the process of creating a website or mobile application. They are required to write
a comprehensive report covering the following topics:
• Modern Web and Mobile Development Technologies and Frameworks: Explain and evaluate
modern web and mobile development technologies and frameworks. Discuss their impact
on design, functionality, and management.
• Website Design and SEO: Analyze the impact of website design on search engine results.
Explain SEO techniques and how they can improve website ranking.
• Website Technologies, Tools, and Software: Describe design concepts such as flexibility,
performance, functionality, UX, and UI. Evaluate tools, techniques, and languages used in
website development. Discuss the use of content management systems (CMS) and
considerations for website design platforms.
• Multimedia Content Creation: Discuss tools available for creating multimedia content for
websites. Explain regulatory and ethical considerations in multimedia content creation.
• Creating a Website or Mobile Application: Design wireframe documents for a website or
mobile application based on client and user requirements. Describe the process of creating a
website or mobile application to fulfill these requirements. Identify key performance areas,
create a test plan, and evaluate the results.
Assessment 2: Project (Practical Project: Basic Website / or / Mobile app for a Local Business )
Task Description: In this assessment, learners will apply their knowledge practically by developing a
website or mobile application based on the provided requirements. The project should include the
following:
1. Planning:
• Create a simple wireframe outlining the layout, including sections for home, about us,
services/products, contact information, and a simple contact form.
2. Development:
• focusing on creating a clean and visually appealing design.
• Implement basic interactivity for features like a responsive navigation menu and form
validation.
3. Testing:
• Test for functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
4. Evaluation:
• Identify any areas for improvement, such as optimizing load times or enhancing user
experience.
• Provide recommendations for future enhancements or additional features.
Submission Guidelines:

• Please submit your completed report as a single document in standard word processing format
(Microsoft Word) to the designated assignment submission portal before the deadline.

• All sources used must be properly cited and referenced using a recognized referencing style
(e.g., APA, Harvard). At least 05 references.

• The assignment must be submitted by the specified deadline.

• Academic Type: Essay - Descriptive / Analytical / Critical / Paraphrased (no direct cut (copy) paste
to avoid plagiarism).

Word Count: The number of words in the text should be between 3000 and 3500 words.

Feedback and Grading:

• Feedback on your performance, as well as your grade, will be provided within two weeks after
the submission deadline.

• Feedback will be provided based on the assessment criteria outlined above.

• Grading will be on a Pass/Fail basis, with clear feedback provided to support improvement if
