feat tures of Cloud computing are specified below:
tows easy expansion: The user can demand more storage as and when required.
maintenance: The servers are easily maintained and are compatible with the devices
with timely updates.
gy Accessibility: The user can access the cloud data or upload the data to the cloud from
Easy ‘ere as he needs only a device and a good internet connection.
Zonomical: It is easier and cheaper to purchase storage for storing the data on cloud. The
Bconvenance cost is also not expensive

pay for what you use: In cloud computing, the user has to pay only for the service, or the
: Bae used, as there is no hidden cost
Gecurity: One of the important features of cloud computing is Security. Cloud service
fi rovider companies offers many advanced features related to security and ensures that
data is securely stored and handled. Once the data is stored in the cloud, it is easier to get
pack-up and restore that data using the cloud even if any issue occurs with a server.

TYPES OF CLOUD COMPUTING
There are three types of cloud computing, which are:
* Public clouds: This is a cloud computing service which is provided by a third party, like
Amazon, Google, etc., to the public on a pay-per-use basis. The people pay based on the
Services used but some of the cloud providers offer free service too. A good example for
the same is Massachusetts Open Cloud. The public cloud allows users to share resources
while maintaining the privacy of each user’s data.

Private clouds: As the name suggests, this service is dedicated either to a single

* Hybrid clouds: This is a combination of public and private cloud environments, the
allows data and applications to be shared between them. It is up to the company to des
or limit the access of their public cloud with restrictions to ensure Data security.

coud SERVICES AND MODELS
gy facility provided by the cloud is referred as ‘service’. There are three types of models to
caegorize different cloud computing services. These models are:

SaaS,
Seine for software as a service. This service just needs the Internet to get delivered. Most
meappliations under this service run through the web browser. The user does not need to
vom ae specific software to use and run them. In most cases, SaaS users pay a monthly
Foie scription fee to use the services. The common examples are Dropbox, Microsoft
nipanies pend jorespae WebEx etc. This service is best suitable for startups or small
srlive busin imite infrastructure. One of the limitations is data security. Transferring
ess information to public-cloud based SaaS service may not be safe and secure.
