Computer Hardware

Computer hardware encompasses all the tangible components of a computer, including the monitor, keyboard, CPU, and storage devices. It is categorized into input devices and output devices, with each part serving a specific function, such as the processor executing instructions and RAM storing temporary data. Advancements in technology continue to enhance the performance and size of hardware, which is essential for software operation.

Computer Hardware

Computer hardware refers to all the physical parts of a computer that we can see and touch.
These include the monitor (screen), keyboard, mouse, printer, CPU (central processing unit),
speakers, and storage devices like hard drives and USBs. Inside the CPU, there are important
parts like the motherboard (the main circuit board), RAM (temporary memory), processor
(brain of the computer), power supply, and cooling fans. Each of these parts has a specific
function. For example, the processor carries out instructions, and the RAM temporarily stores
data being used. Hardware can be divided into two main categories: input devices (like
keyboard and mouse) and output devices (like monitor and printer). As technology improves,
new hardware becomes smaller, faster, and more powerful. Without hardware, software would
have nothing to run on.
