Number of views Number of times compared Total number of reviews on Average words per review Average rating based on
to another product IT Central Station on IT Central Station reviews
Bar length
The total ranking of a product, represented by the bar length, is based on a weighted aggregate score. The score is calculated as follows:
The product with the highest count in each area gets the highest available score. (18 points for Reviews, Words/Review, Views and
Comparisons.) Every other product gets assigned points based on its total in proportion to the #1 product in that area.
For example, if a product has 80% of the number of reviews compared to the product with the most reviews then the product's points for reviews
would be 18 (weighting factor) * 80% = 14.4. For Average Rating, the maximum score is 28 points awarded linearly between 6-10 (e.g. 6 or
below=0 points; 7.5=10.5 points; 9.0=21 points; 10=28 points).
If a product has fewer than ten reviews, the point contribution for Average Rating and Words/Review is reduced: 1/3 reduction in points for
products with 5-9 reviews, two-thirds reduction for products with fewer than five reviews.
Reviews that are more than 24 months old, as well as those written by resellers, are completely excluded from the ranking algorithm.

The most valuable feature is that it enables me to present data in the format that the client wants to consume it. That client might be

I think the flexibility. It's very configurable. Each policy is very customizable, where we can accommodate different capabilities that
our trading partners actually have. Even though from a textbook standpoint, there's always a certain ideal pattern that you want to
apply, that's rarely the case with our trading partners. That flexibility is very important. And the main point of the Gateway is the

It takes an existing service, like JSON or SOAP, and converts it for use on the application (e.g., REST services). From a security point

The benefits are rapid development and deployment of APIs, which means that your information, your ability to handle information,

It gave us new capabilities that we really didn't have before. We didn't have a good way of exposing APIs to the internet in a

There has a been a lot of confusion with pricing and licenses, especially around the number of cores. In addition, don't

I have worked on Apigee Edge and Apigee Dev Portal. Specifically, in Apigee Edge, the elements like products, developer,

There are many features, which I have felt are very useful and easy to implement at flows. Below are some of the points that I would

Apigee Analytics dashboard very useful for monitoring. * Private cloud architecture * Management APIs are very useful, because we

The company needs to better support webhooks. It used to support webhooks and their policies and they have since stopped.

The one thing about SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) that we really liked is that it's what I would call "platform
independent." Most of our systems back in 2012 were on an AS/400 or iSeries and there were some limitations with that. We really
wanted to find a product that could communicate with all platforms. In addition to that, we really like the AS2 communication
Evan Meyer adapters, which allow us to not use a VAN and for data to be pushed between trading partners. That's a big feature we really like.
Then, in our landscape, we have a lot of AS/... [Full Review]
Number one, the ease of integration of the SEEBURGER product into SAP was pretty seamless. There wasn't any trouble, there
weren't any complexities. SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) also allowed us to connect EDI vendors at will. We use SRM
here as well and it's required at our university that we use EDI for all of those, for that PunchOut functionality, so that we have full-

Having something standard, out-of-the-box, and being able to use that has been a huge benefit for us. We came from a system, in
the past, where we were having to manually create all that on our own, and it was very time-consuming and costly. Being able to do

It's a very robust solution and it's very configurable. Before this product we would use an ESB-type of solution which required us to

its job very well, to the extent that we do not see failures in the system. It can handle large files very well, which is one of our bigger

We have different application development groups within IT. My area is primarily EDI and integrations, but in some of the other
areas, like HR or payroll or shipping, there's a great need to transfer files and data with their trading partners. Those partners could
be a bank or an HR company or a payroll company. The folks in our other application areas don't really have any experience with

The benefit of using SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS), one that we like to tout right now, is the interaction of the
solution's front end with the CMA module that we purchased from them. We're able to create surveys around testing processes and

The BIS Front End needs a little bit of refreshing, especially when it comes to setting up new trading partners and trading partner

They made improvements to the email error alerts that go out, for the EDI technical. Those typically go straight out to the partners.
Those messages are significantly clearer and easy to read. The same messages in the front end are not nearly as clear. It's
supposed to be the same error, but the message that goes out for EDI is really easy for anybody to read and understand, but you

One thing that comes to mind is the service-oriented architecture. I have seen, in some of the other middleware tools, that you can

of the other tools out there in the market, you can create one service and use that service without creating a copy. That kind of

There's always room for improvement. One of them is that the product is not integrated very well with different cloud providers. We
did work with the vendor to build a solution for Amazon, but there is no solution for other cloud providers like Google or Azure. The
vendor needs to create adapters so that if we have a requirement to transfer data from our data center to another cloud, outside of
Enterpri7cde Amazon, we would be able to do that. Another issue is that support for the vendor's operating system is not available. There used

time of implementation, so we added them later, or we have plans to add them in the future. Sometimes it seems a little pricey,

Pricing, compared to the tool that we had earlier, is cheaper. The way they have their licensing structure set up, they have a lot of

unzip and you're up and running in some few minutes. Knowledge to set it up is key. A more user-friendly portal could be helpful.
Something you won't really get lost in. For example, other APIs make it so easy to do a couple of things from the portal, not at the
Oladipupo- management portal itself. Maybe if IBM can improve on that, it would be most helpful. [Full Review]

It still does not support open API 3. Another problem is the designer. I want the whole solution to be on the cloud. For the

Amazon API Gateway is a fully managed service that makes it easy for developers to create, publish, maintain, monitor, and
secure APIs at any scale. With a few clicks in the AWS Management Console, you can create an API that acts as a "front door" for
applications to access data, business logic, or functionality from your back-end services, such as workloads running on Amazon
Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), code running on AWS Lambda, or any Web application.

You can code anything and hook it on to it but it doesn't give you stuff out of the box like the other gateways give you. You can do
anything with it because you just attach a LAN to it and it will do anything, but that's to the custodian. You know you're not using the
power of the gateway. It's hard to configure. There's a lot of options but it's very hard, it's very confusing. In the future, I'd like to see

I find the generation of mock services very useful, especially when demonstrating for new consumers. I also like how you can
document many viewpoints for the same resource and easily let users navigate through these in the rendered definition. Reuse of
objects within the editor, and how easy it is to add enumerations, are also valuable features. The ease of integration with GitHub,

With our business clients, the ability to configure rules to check for consistency has helped. Integration with GitHub has made
version management of specifications very easy. The mock endpoints have been a great enabler. The ability to work with both API
Blueprint and Swagger/OpenAPI notations has made it a lot easier to use a single tool to collaborate. We find API Blueprint helps
Phil Wilkins with less technical audiences, but more established API people use Swagger — so the same tool can be used. [Full Review]

Apiary provides a free tier of the platform which allows a small group of developers to collaborate easily on the design of open

I would like an integrated option to download a Swagger version of the definition. Currently, you can download an API Blueprint file

The linkage to Apiary and the validation between the API documentation and the resource endpoints has ensured our

The API Platform has provided a consistent place to administer OAuth 2.0, Access Key, and other policies across groupings of APIs.
