Here’s **Week 1: Discovering the Self** with thoughtful, ready-to-
use responses for your journal:
### **Week 1: Discovering the Self**
**Monday: “If I had to define self in only a few words, what would I say?
Why?”**
*“A curious learner with a kind heart.”*
I describe myself this way because I always strive to grow through learning
and experience. At the same time, I care deeply about the people around
me. I believe that being kind and open-minded helps me become a better
version of myself every day.
**Tuesday: Make a list of 30 things that make you smile/happy.**

**Wednesday: How am I taking care of myself physically?**
I take care of myself physically by drinking water throughout the day, trying
to eat balanced meals, and sleeping at least 7 hours when I can. I also try to
walk or stretch, especially after sitting for too long. Taking care of my body
helps me feel more energetic and focused.
**Thursday: What are the small blessings in life I should be grateful for? Am I
taking any of these for granted? How can I show my gratitude?**
Some small blessings I’m thankful for are clean water, good food, music, my
health, and my family’s support. Sometimes, I forget how important these
are until I don’t have them. I can show gratitude by being more mindful,
saying “thank you” often, and taking better care of the things and people I
value.
**Friday: What are my 5 greatest strengths?**
1. **Empathy** – I try to understand how others feel and be there for them.
2. **Creativity** – I love expressing myself through drawing and writing.
3. **Resilience** – I don’t give up easily, even when things are tough.
4. **Patience** – I can stay calm and wait when things take time.
5. **Open-mindedness** – I’m always willing to learn and listen to different
perspectives.

Perfect! Here are the responses for **Week 2** and **Week 3** of your Self-
Reflection Journal:
### **Week 2: Understanding Identity and Values**
**Monday: “What is something that represents you (e.g., song, animal,
flower, poem, symbol, jewelry, etc.)? Why?”**
A sunflower represents me. It always turns toward the light, even when it’s
surrounded by darkness. I try to stay hopeful and look for positivity even
during difficult times. The sunflower also symbolizes warmth and growth—
two things I value in life.
**Tuesday: “What is one thing I would change about my character if I could?
Why?”**
If I could change one thing, it would be my tendency to overthink.
Sometimes I spend too much time worrying about what others think or if I
made the right decision. I wish I could trust myself more and just let things
flow naturally.
**Wednesday: What goals am I setting for myself? What am I doing to
achieve these goals?**
One of my main goals is to become more confident in myself. I’ve started by
setting small challenges—like speaking up in class or trying new things
outside my comfort zone. I also keep a journal to reflect on my progress and
remind myself of how far I’ve come.
**Thursday: What matters most in my life? What am I doing about the things
that matter most in my life?**
Family, health, and self-growth matter most to me. I try to spend time with
my loved ones, stay mentally and physically healthy, and push myself to
improve—even in small ways. I’m learning that staying consistent with what
matters most makes life more meaningful.
**Friday: What was the most difficult obstacle I have faced? What did I do?
How am I different today because of it?**
One of the hardest things I faced was dealing with self-doubt. It held me back
from trying new things. I started facing it by talking to people I trust,
journaling, and celebrating small victories. Today, I’m more self-aware and
stronger because of it.
### **Week 3: Growth, Healing, and Hope**
**Monday: What one advice would you give for a fellow teenager who is
undergoing clinical depression?**
You are not alone, and asking for help is not a weakness—it’s a strength.
Please talk to someone you trust, even if it’s hard. Depression doesn’t define
you. Take it one day at a time, and know that healing is possible.
**Tuesday: When I am in pain (physical or emotional), what is the kindest
thing that I can do for myself?**
The kindest thing I can do is to give myself permission to rest without guilt.
Whether it’s watching a comfort movie, talking to a friend, or simply taking a
deep breath, I remind myself that it’s okay to not be okay—and that healing
takes time.
**Wednesday: What small act of kindness was I once shown that I will never
forget?**
I once forgot my wallet at school, and a classmate I barely knew offered to
pay for my lunch. It was such a small gesture, but it made me feel cared for.
That moment taught me how powerful kindness can be, especially when it’s
unexpected.
**Thursday: If I could talk to my teenage self, what would I say?**
I’d say, “You’re doing better than you think. Stop comparing yourself to
others and trust your own journey. The mistakes you’re scared of making are
the ones that will teach you the most. Be gentle with yourself—you’re
growing.”
**Friday: “What’s one topic you need to learn more about to help you live a
more fulfilling life?”**
I need to learn more about emotional intelligence—how to manage my
feelings, understand others, and handle relationships in a healthy way. I
believe that understanding emotions deeply will help me build better
connections and find more peace in life.
