Assignment 3– Self-reflective presentation (20%)

You are required to prepare a reflective statement on your professional development and present it to the class on a given date. This
will be to assess your progress on your personal development. As a professional, you are expected to understand more about your self-
esteem, develop the necessary professional skills and be more prepared for your career.

Your report may need to cover the following: -


1) What are your life and career goals? Elaborate on your personal and career goals. Fill up the SMART Goals worksheet
provided with one specific chosen goal as an example. Refer to appendix 1 (Smart Goals worksheet)
2) How Professional Development module has helped you in your personal development. What are the areas that you have
improved?
3) Are you prepared for your career? How much have you planned? Please attach a snapshot of your LinkedIn Profile.
4) Attend a free seminar or training for your own personal / professional development. Write a summary about what did you
learned and how it helped you to develop yourself. Be sure to give the correct details of the seminar/training that you have
attended. (Date, time, title, link, snapshot)

ASSESSMENT REGULATION

Report order

1. Your report should follow the following order:


a) Cover page done by you with student’s name, ID number, lecturer’s name,
program, date of submission and topic of the assignment
b) Table of content
c) Content (With sub-headings)
d) Reference list (if applicable)
e) Marking criteria grid (attached in the coursework brief)

Other regulations

1. Use Microsoft Word with 1.5 line spacing, font size should be 12 (Times New Roman).
2. The use of point form is not acceptable.
3. The written assignments must include page numbers.
4. Marks will only be awarded to those whose name and signature appears on the cover sheet.
5. An Executive Summary is not needed for assignments of this module.
6. You MUST always reference your assignment correctly. University referencing guidelines are
included in this module guide and MUST be always observed. Please take note that you need
to have in text citations as evidence of readings and research made. You should cite the
references using Harvard referencing system.
7. A Reference List is the list of sources you refer to in your assignment AND IS A
