Setting Thiscut sequence soundslikeitissetnearan ocean as we can clearlyhearthe
soundof the waves,alsowe canhear that theymustbe on the land because we can
hearthe soundof the footstepsonthe groundand it soundslike theyare walkingon
hollowwood. Furtherintothe clipwe hearwhatsoundslike someonerowinga
boat andwe can alsohear rainfall hittingwater.We alsohearThere isa lot of
varyingmusicwhichgoesfromverysinistermusicatcertainpointstoa verycalm
and happymusicat others,thisgivesusthe feelingthatthe game changessettinga
lotthroughout.
I thinkthat the soundof the oceanwould’ve been
made usingeitherfieldrecordingorbyusinga
MIDI soundboard.The footstepswould’vebeen
made ina studiorecordingareaas theywould’ve
had to getthe footstepstobe verygood quality
so that youwouldbe able tohear themclearly.
FinallyIbelieve thatthe soundsof rainfall inthe
waterwould’ve beenmade usingFoleyartistry.
Mood The mood varies,atone pointthe moodseemsverycalmand verycasual as there is
a calm musicinthe backgroundhoweverasthe cut sequence continuesthereare
differentsoundssuchassinistermusicwhichleadsustobelieve thatthere is
somethingabouttohappenorthat theyhave discoveredsomethingverysinister.
Knowthat the musicwould’ve eitherbeenmade
usingelectrical musical instrumentsor usingand
acousticorchestra.I am more toward themusing
an acousticorchestrathoughas the musicisvery
acoustic.
