As many of today's basic functions are being simplified by technology, computers
have been on the forefront in developing innovations through its many functions. Many of
the things that we thought were impossible before are now being achieved by computers
nowadays.
In this digital economy, having the knowledge and skills in computer servicing is the
start and most fundamental of all.
Developing these God-given skills to serve people is a huge boost to society and our
economy today.

Why is CSS relevant?
As society grows, the demand for people providing computer services and continuity
continues. Almost every industry institution today relies on technology for development. Even
establishments and businesses are now gearing towards the use of information technology to
promote their services.
Examples
Fast-food chains uses delivery app to hasten their take-out orders.
Accounting firms and other organizations uses network infrastructure for
maintenance and monitoring.
Subscriptions and Bills are pated through online transactions.
Basically we can say that computers and networks are almost the bloodline of daily
activities today.

As a person talented in reading out technical instructions then executing it to practical
skills in maintaining repairing computer units, Computer systems servicing is a venture to go to.
Your God-given talent in handling technical problems should be maximize to serve those who
are in need of technical help.
What jobs can I land on?
The National Certificate for Certification of Computer Systems (NC II) trains students
with skills that can help them diagnose and solve PC systems and software problems, as well as
adjusting their parts to restore the device to normal operation.
As society today becomes more technology-driven and technologically dependent, it is not
surprising that the expertise of computer service providers is increasingly needed by more and
more institutions. After achieving the qualifications for Computer Systems Servicing NC II you
can be competent to be:
Computer Assembler
Responsible for preparing computer parts compatible with necessary computer
component and assembling it all together.
Computer Service Technician
This work may include hardware setup and software and driver configuration.
Other tasks may include maintenance and repair of technological equipment as well as
peripherals for computers.
Network Technician

An information technology specialist who is responsible for designing and

Technical Support Staff
In various organizations and / or business institutions, this area can be high on
demand. A professional support staff may be responsible for the maintenance of computer
systems, installation of equipment and software and repairs.
Computer Maintenance Technician
A job that has more diverse set of skills, but responsible for maintaining and providing
technical support for general day-to-day computer services.
Computer Repairman
A person providing repair and maintenance services. This work includes a thorough
knowledge of the diagnosis and repair of the various devices that will be brought to them.
What does the Qualification require?
Holding a CSS NC II certification is an entry point for a computer-related profession.
As technology evolves, you need to become familiar with the latest trends, technologies,
and innovations related to the computer industry. In addition, computer workers may need to
work with different people who may need their expertise. This includes the ability to run in
teams and the ability to communicate technical knowledge to non-technical users.
Being a computer technician can require you to see clients or even in an office and
workplace and you must have the interests and skills required by the job.
