Use of robots/machine in industrial facilities
Today’s generation we are very much blessed for all the inventions made by intelligent
inventors. some of technologies arises in line with robots and machines that are helpful in
agricultural and industrial use. We are aware that robots and machines functions in the field of
agriculture and industrial facilities to lessen the burden of farmers. At the same time, those
robots/machines are helping manufacturers address many of the key challenges they face,
including tight labor pools, global market competitiveness and safety.
However, not all farmers can easily invest money to buy machines in farming. In addition to
that, the use of robots/machines have also advantages and disadvantages. Having robots and
machines contribute better quality and consistency—robots/machines are able to provide better
production quality and more precise and reliable processes. It can also reduce direct labor cost—
the cost of having a person handle many manufacturing operations is often more expensive than
robot. Additionally, it provides greater safety in which robots for repetitive tasks means fewer
risks of injury for workers, especially when manufacturing has to take place under hostile
conditions. Those are some advantages if we are able to use robots/machines in industrial
facilities. Moving on, using robots/machines has also disadvantages some of those are: high
initial investment wherein we all know that robots/machines typically require a large mount for
investment of the said technology. Another one is, expertise can be scares because industrial
robots needs sophisticated operation, maintenance and programming, as a result, farmers will
have spent big amount of money to repair and bring back the machines in function forms. Lastly,
ongoing cost, additionally, if robots/machines encounter problems in use there is ongoing
expenses, such as maintenance to continuously process the production of farming and the like.
Those are some of the disadvantages of robots/machines in industrial facilities.
Base on the advantages and disadvantages, we all know that not all can afford to buy machines to
make work easier, but as today’s work in a wide range of industries, based on my opinion, I
could possibly suggest not to access the use of robots/machines in industrial facilities because if
we spent money for technologies why not hire people that is seeking for a job to support their
family. By this, we are able to produce goods crops, output and the like and enhance the skills of
workers at the same time.
