CONSENT ORDER To LIFT ORDER FOR ARREST
THIS MATTER came before the undersigned by Defendant's Consent Motion
to Lift the Order for Arrest; the Court hereby enters the following findings of fact
and conclusions of law basecl on the pleadings and the consent o.f the parties:
On 18 July 2022, this Court entered an order for Ms. Boseman.'s ayrest
due to ber fai.lure to provide documents and information to the North Carolj.na State
Bar (the "State Bar").
2. .Principally, the State Ber requested the following:
a. Please produce all ban.k statements, with cancelled checks, for
your First Citizens Bank trust account (with accoun.t number din-g in 5475
("FCB Account 5475")) for the months of July 201!) through October 2019.
b. Please produce all deposit slips and deposited items fie.?

reconciliation of your First National Bank trust account (with account
number ending in 5418 ("FNB Account all

the type of account, and the dates during which you made the deposit.
Please specifically identify each bank account (including

from the November 8; 2021 account withdrawal from FCB Account 5475—

checks, from January 2019 through present for each account responsive
to Inquiries #6 and #7.

3. IV-*-s. Boseman has now submitted (-1 response to each cf these inquiries.
Ms. Boseman understnnds that the -Bar may have follow-u.p

Specifically; in addition to providing a narrative regpcnse to ef)Ch
Ms. Rosemall has executed a Power of .Attoyney and Vyirltten
Autaorization to give bev counsel access to her be.nk records and. directed her
counsel to request the. documents the Bar is seek.ing from the banks. Ms. Boseman
has f.urther cl.iyected her counsel tr.) provide these documents to the Bar as soon as
he receives them.
6. Mg. Boseman and her counsel have requested the banks

to ou.Y requ.eets, First National Bank. has produced documents to M-s. Bosernan

to the Bar.
8. At thie point, Ms. Boseman J.•epresents that she is unaware of
anything further she con d.o tc get these documents to the Bar.

Court lift the order for her arrest on 18 July 2022 for 21 days, during, •which time

THEREFORE, based upon the foregoing findings of fact
and cc-nclus.ions cf law and the consent of the parties,
the undersigned hereby lifts the order for Defendant's

1. On 18 July 2022, this Court e.ntered an order for Ms. Boseman's arrest
due fuci her failu re to provide documents and information to the St3.te Bar.

3, MS. Boseman sincerely apologizes for not responding to these inquiries
in a more timely manner and 90knowledges that her failure to adequate].y participate
in the self-regu]atio.n process was and is unacceptable.
4. Ms, Boseman has now submitted a response to each of these inqo-iy:.ieg.

5, Ms. Bosernam understands that the Bar may have. questac;ns these,

6. Specifically, in addition to providing a narrative response to inquiry,
Ms, Bosemaxy has executed a Power of Attorney an.d Wrifu+,en Authorization
to give undersigned counsel access to her bank records and directed. unders.i.gnecl
counsel to request the documents the Bar is seeking from. the banks. Ms. Posernan
has further cårectad undersigned counsel to provide these doom-nerds to the Bar as
sc;c-.o. as he receives them. For a true and accurate copy of Ms. BosemarCs

Ms. Baseman would have done this sooner but since she hes been out
of the country, it' has been incredibly difficult, to find a notary, which
was required by the bankc to permit undersigned counsel to have access to
the

produce, the documents the Bar is seeking as soon as possible. For
true and copies of these docurnent requests, please see
11, While First Citizens Bank has not, as of the date of this fiJing,
responded to our requests, First National Bank has produced documents to Mg.
Bcsemati and undersigned counsel; Ms. Boseman, through undersigned counsel,
immediately provided these to the Bar. For a true and accurate copy of this
communication to the Bar, please see Exhibit attached hereto.
12. At this point, Ms. Bosemm is unaware of anything further she can do to get
these documents to the Bar.
13. This is not' to suggest Ms. Bosemm believes she is blarneJess in
this matter: Ms. Boseman acknowledges that she has failed to timely comply
vyi.th the Bar's request for documentation.
14, As a result, Ms. Boseman acknowledges that she should be disciplined for these
failures through the State Bar's disciplinary process.
15. In fact, she desires to surrender her law license.
16. For now, though, Ms. Boseman believes she has don e
everything she can t!? ate;t the Bar the documen ts and information
it hag requested.
17. In light of these efforts, and out of a desire to continue
caring for her twelve-year-old son, Ms. Boseman respectfully asks this Court to
lift the order for her arrest entered on 18 July 2022 for 21 days, during which
Ms. Boseman will prodv c.e to •th.e State Bar the documents she receives pursua-
rat to the attached requests.

they said this is all they have that is responsive to our requests, which were copied verbatim from yours to us, so to the
extent you have asked for other documents, I do not believe they exist.
We have not yet heard from First Citizens Bank but will provide those documents to you as soon as we get them,
