How to Download, Install, Configure, and Log onto the Amazon WorkSpaces Client
1. Download the Amazon WorkSpaces Client
1.1. Go to the following Website: https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/
1.2. Download the relevant WorkSpaces client. In this case, we are selecting the Windows 64bit
client
1.3. The following file will be downloaded to your computer: Amazon+WorkSpaces.msi
2. Install the Amazon WorkSpaces Client
2.1. Run the Amazon+WorkSpaces.msi, and accept all of the default settings.
3. Configure the Amazon WorkSpaces Client
3.1. Follow the instructions below to configure the Amazon WorkSpaces Client on your local
Operating System.
Launch the WorkSpace Client:
You can click the start button and type
Amazon. This should show the WorkSpaces
client for you to launch.
Configure the Network/Proxy Settings:
For most users, there is no need to modify
this setting.
However, if you are working at a corporate
office, please check with your Network Team
on how the Proxy should be configured. You
may need to select the “Customize proxy
server for WorkSpaces” option to input the
required Proxy and Port.
Enter the Registration Code:
When prompted for a registration code, you
will need to enter one of the following:
Production: SLiad+MG3VD9
or
Production: SLiad+ CGRUYV
For Disaster Recovery WorkSpace use:
Disaster Recovery: WSpdx+K8NJF7
Once entered, click the “Register” button
Ready to logon:
Upon successful registration, you will notice
the Guardian logo appears and you are
prompted to enter your username,
password, and MFA code. These are the
same credentials currently used to log onto
Citrix. Once you have entered the required
information, click “Sign-In" to complete the
logon process.
Note that your first logon to this new
workspace may take slightly longer as it
completes setup. Future logons should take
less time.

Troubleshooting:
If you are having trouble connecting to your
Workspace you can test the network
connection by clicking on the box in the
upper right corner of the client. It will return
with a connection status report.

your new Amazon WorkSpace.
