SUMMER HOLIDAYS ASSIGNMENT


GRADE -XII (2025-26)
Guidelines for Holiday Assignments
1. Students should take complete responsibility for completing their home assignments,
as these creative tasks are part of SAE assessments. Teachers will award marks for the
same.
2. Label your holiday homework neatly with your name, class, subject, and theme.
3. Submit all the work done to the teacher on time after vacations.
4. Make it a routine to complete your assignments in such a way that it doesn’t interfere
with your vacation enjoyment, travel, or fun and have stress-free engagement.
5. Parents should plan some trips for their wards, keeping the geographical and
historical importance of the place in mind. They must learn and experience different
foods, cultures, people, geography, etc. while travelling.
Some tips to engage yourself in joyful learning experiences as per your interests
Participate in household work like watering plants, organizing rooms and cupboards,
refilling water bottles and keeping them in the refrigerator, cooking, cleaning the
house, etc.
Play simple indoor games like scrabble, chess, carom, and word building, and join
some outdoor games.
Learn new things like coding, dancing, Musical instruments, etc.
Watch informative channels like English news channels, National Geographic,
history channels, etc.
Learn English songs, write poems and book/movie reviews, make dialogue book
on any story, and read a lot of books to enhance your thinking skills.
Teach an underprivileged child computer in your surrounding area.
Make a documentary film on any social problem or on any great person
Revise the PT-1 syllabus thoroughly.

“Aging with Grace: A Daughter’s Silent Goodbye”

Concept & Instructions:

Students will create a visual and emotional poster that captures the themes of:
Aging and mortality
Emotional distance vs. deep love,
The fear of loss, Unspoken bonds between parent and child

Poster elements may include:


A split image: one half showing the poet’s mother in her youth and the other as she is now—pale
and asleep by the car window.
A symbolic element, such as a fading flower, a moving car (representing life moving forward), or a
pair of eyes showing silent emotion.
A quote or line from the poem (e.g., “…like a late winter’s moon”) illustrated or handwritten
creatively.
A short caption or personal message on the value of cherishing parents or dealing with the fear of
separation

Instructions:

Project Title:
“Stories Behind the Eyes: A Child Labour Awareness Campaign”

Instructions:

Design an awareness campaign project highlighting the issue of child labour as discussed in Lost
Spring.
Include:
A research poster or presentation on child labour in India (facts + current stats).

A fictional diary entry or monologue from the perspective of a child like Saheb or Mukesh.

Visuals (drawings, collage, or digital designs) showing both the harsh reality and the dream of
education and freedom.

End with a “Be the Change” pledge where students write what steps society or they themselves can
take.
Write about the main Tiger Reserves Sanctuaries of Andhra Pradesh along with
their pictures and also mention the count of Tigers in the state.(Mandatory for
all the students)
Note:
Students are required to do the holiday homework in assignment sheets on the mentioned
topics. For posters students must use A3 size thick sheet with beautiful borders.
The students have to write the whole content manually by themselves. Only digital pictures are
allowed to be pasted otherwise the digital written content will not be assessed.
Students must bring their project well coloured in a beautiful handmade folder which could be
of their choice.

Q1. To demonstrate a function which is not one –one but is onto.

Q2. To verify that the relation R in the set L of all lines in a plane ,defined by R ={ (l,m): lΛm} is

ACCOUNTANCY
As per the CBSE guidelines every student of class 12th have to prepare a Comprehensive Accountancy Project
on Sole Proprietorship.
How to make the Project?
1. Write a STORY
There should be nicely written story in the project. The story should include all the major transactions of the firm
.There should be 5 adjustment entries in project which should be shown in story the data provided should be close
to real life situations as possible. It should cover all important aspects like investments, financing, operating,
adjustments to final accounts, etc. in a condensed form.
The situations given in these problems will require a student to derive meaningful conclusion for taking
decisions for the purposes of investment, expansion, financing, etc.
2. Make JOURNAL based on above story
There should be around 35-45 journal entries or as specified by your teacher .Some entries should be related to Pre
– Operative Expenses. Journal Entries should be realistic and related to business on which you are making the
project.
3. LEDGER ACCOUNTS:
There should be around 25-30 ledger accounts. Ledger Accounts should be closed with Trading A/c and Profit and
loss A/c.
4. Make TRIAL BALANCE
5. Make TRADING, PROFIT & LOSS A/C
6. Make BALANCE SHEET
7. Calculate Relevant Accounting Ratios :
Following Ratios are required to be made
Profitability Ratio
Solvency Ratio
Liquidity Ratio
Activity Ratio
Diagrammatic representation of above ratio is also required.
8. Analysis of the Financial Statements using Accounting ratios
9. Brief analysis of the above Ratios is required.
10. Write a Conclusion
Conclusions drawn should be placed in boxes at the end.
Beside these your project file should also include
First page of the file should describe title of work, identity of student, school, and the
teacher concerned.
Index to indicate columns for title of work, page no., date, teacher’s remarks and
signature.
Acknowledgment
Certificate
Project File should be neatly handwritten and presentable with page numbers. Each step of the
solution needs to be highlighted.
