Attendance
• Leave ofAbsence requests are subject to approval.
• For modules with <50% attendance, you will be awarded a maximum grade of
“NGP” (non-graded pass), with an associated grade point of 1.0.
• Students must maintain at least 50% attendance for each module's total session
hours .
• Students are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in all lessons to ensure a
fruitful learning experience.

• Students arerequired to use their phone camera or any QR code scanner to scan the
QR code for attendance-taking.
• For synchronous lessons, please prepare two devices , one device to view the QR
code that the lecturer shares and another device (with camera function ) to scan the
QR code for attendance recording.
• Student must be able to login to their Singpass account for
verification.

Stricter Disciplinary MeasuresAgainst Vaping Offences
With effect from 1 September 2025, stricter disciplinary measures will
be taken for CET students caught on TP campus possessing or using
e-vaporisers, including those containing etomidate.
CET students caught on campus vaping or in possession of vaping
devices will be reported to Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and will
be subjected to both sets of penalties from HSA/Central Narcotics
Bureau (CNB) and Temasek Polytechnic.
*A copy of the warning letter will be sent to the CET student's
sponsoring company where applicable.

Plagiarism
Plagiarism is aserious academic offence, and disciplinary action will be
taken against students caught for plagiarism.
Students caught using Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs and tools to
assist in writing and submitting their assignments, without appropriate
referencing format, are considered to have plagiarized the work.
Plagiarism includes using or allowing part of or the whole of another
student's work and presenting it as your own work.

• Ensure the course fee payment is made by the stipulated deadline, or it will be
assumed that you are taking a semester break for the April 2026 semester.

• Results for the October 2025 semester will be released on 26 March 2026.
• There is no MOE funding for repeat module(s) . Student must inform their
Programme Manager if they wish to repeat any module(s).
