Introduction
➢ Here, we will explore the world of the SAP Business Technology Platform
(BTP) and delve into the process of setting up your very own trial
account. I will guide you through the steps of creating an SAP BTP Trial
Account, giving you a hands-on experience with this powerful platform.

➢ But that's not all—I won't stop at just creating the trial account. I will
also show you how to set up the SAP Business Application Studio, an
integrated development environment (IDE) that provides a seamless and
efficient way to build, deploy, and manage your applications on the SAP
BTP.

Steps to Create SAP BTP Trial Account: -


1. In your browser, open SAP Business Technology Platform | Trial. Register
yourself on BTP.
2. Navigate to the trial global account by clicking Enter Your Trial Account.
3. If you're accessing your trial account for the first time, you'll need to
configure it by selecting a region. Opt for US East (VA) as your preferred
region, and your profile will be automatically set up. Please wait for a
few minutes while your account, including your global account,
subaccount, organization, and space, is launched and made ready for
use.
4. Click Continue.

5. From your global account page, choose boosters.


6. In search tab, search for Prepare an Account for ABAP Trial tile and
click Start to start your booster.

7. Now the service instance and service key will be created for the ABAP
trial user. The service key can be found inside the service instance.

8. The booster is now executed successfully. Download service key for


future use.
Set Up SAP Business Application Studio for development: -
1. Login to your SAP BTP cockpit.
2. Click on SAP Business Application Studio to launch the SAP Business
Application Studio.

3. If you have recently created your trial account, SAP Business Application
Studio will be automatically subscribed. However, if you encounter an
error message and your account was not recently created, you will need
to manually add a subscription to SAP Business Application Studio.
For that follow the below steps: -
a) Go to your trial account.
b) Double-click on your subaccount.
c) Choose services from the left menu.
d) Click on service marketplace. In the search tab search for SAP
Business Application Studio.
e) Click on 3 dots. Click Create and Fill in all details.
f) After entering details click on create button. It will subscribe
SAP Business Application Studio to your BTP Trial account.

4. Once your SAP Business Application Studio subscribed, then go to


Services-> Instances and subscription-> Go to Application.

5. A new tab opens. The welcome page for SAP Business Application Studio
loads.

6. Click My Dev Spaces to open the SAP Business Application Studio dev
space manager page.
