**Cold Call Script**

**OA:** “Hi! Is this Alan?”

**John:** “Yes, who’s calling?”
**Opening Spiel:**
**OA:** "Hi Alan, my name is Jenivy and I’m calling from a company called Salaria. We saw that
you had a job post for a Business Development Representative and thought you might be
interested in us, as we are a lead gen agency and take care of the same sales tasks and activities
as a BDR. We were just hoping to introduce ourselves. Would you be interested in learning more
about our company?"
**John:** " Hmmm Maybe, Where are you guys located??"
**Call Line 2:**
**OA:** We are located in the United States and headquarter is in Washington, DC. Would you
be interested in learning more about our company?

**John:** "I’ve tried outsourcing before and and haven’t had any success.
**Objection Handling:**
**OA:** I completely understand. We’ve actually worked with a lot of companies that have had
unsuccessful engagements and campaigns with other lead generation companies. But all I can
say is that we do things differently and have a very unique model that is different from any other
lead generation or sales development firms you've worked with. We would love to walk you
through exactly how we are different. Would you be interested in setting up a quick introductory
call with us?
**John:** "By the way, Just wondering, How did you get my number?"
**OA:** We have a contact info database that we use to find phone numbers. Would you be
interested in learning more?
**John:** Actually, can you call me back on next Tuesday at 1:00 AM?
**OA:** "Sure! I get that you'd prefer a callback, but if it's all right, I'd like to schedule a meeting
with you and my account manager. I'll send you a calendar invite via email to block off that time
on your calendar. Is that okay with you?”

**John:** "That will do"

**OA:** It sounds like you already are familiar with what we do, but just to give you a little bit
more context before our meeting. Salaria is a B2B lead generation and sales development
agency and we provide outsourced demand generation and sales development services such as
cold calling, appointment setting, LinkedIn and email marketing. So that’s what we hoped to
discuss with you on the call. My manager, Eben, will actually be the one leading the call.
**John:** "Alright, I see"
**OA:** "Perfect. So what's a good time for you, was that next Tuesday at 1:00AM, right ?"

**John:** "Yep, next tuesday"

**OA:** "Great. May I know what time zone are you in?"

**John:** "Yeah, Im in an Eastern Time”

**OA:** "Alright, What's a good email for us to send a calendar invite to?

**John:** "Send it to alan.doe@gmail.com."

**OA:** "Thanks, Alan! I'll go ahead and send you the invite now. I don't know if you have the
time or access to your email right now, but I was hoping I could send the invite while I still have
you on the phone to make sure you got it. Do you have the time to check?

**John:** "Sure."
**OA:** "Great! Just give me one second and I’ll send it over. I really appreciate you standing on
the line with me."
**OA:** I just sent the invite. Just so you know, it will be coming from my manager, Eben. I
really appreciate you checking.
**John:** I got it!
**OA:** awesome! If you could go ahead and accept the invite so that my manager, Eben,
knows that you received it and that you’re actually interested in taking the call. I’d really
appreciate that. Thank you again for your time and for staying on the line with me here. I hope
you have a wonderful day and we look forward to speaking with you on Tuesday at 1:00AM.

**John:** Same to you! Bye

Goodbye Alan!
OA: “Hi! Is this Alan?”

Alan: “Yes, who’s calling?”

Opening Spiel:

OA: Hi Alan, my name is Jenivy and I’m calling from a company called Salaria. We saw that you
had a job post for a Business Development Representative and thought you might be interested
in us, as we are a lead gen agency and take care of the same sales tasks and activities as a BDR.
We were just hoping to introduce ourselves. Would you be interested in learning more about our
company?"

Alan: "Sure, what services do you offer?"

Call Line 2:

OA: "Salaria provides B2B lead generation and sales development services, including cold calling, appointment
setting, LinkedIn outreach, and email marketing. Would you be interested in hearing more?"

Alan: "I’ve had bad experiences with outsourcing before. How are you different?"

Objection Handling:

OA: "I understand your concern. We’ve successfully helped many companies like yours. Our unique model focuses on
high-volume activities and targeted leads. Are you interested in hearing more about what we can offer?"

Alan: "Where are you based?"

OA: "Our headquarters is in Washington, DC, but we operate with a hybrid model, having team members
both in the US and internationally.

Alan: "How did you get my number?"

OA: "We use Rocket Reach, a contact database for business phone numbers."

Alan: "I’m still not convinced. Hiring internally seems simpler."

OA: "I see your point. Our advantage lies in scalability. We can make 400-800 calls daily and manage extensive outreach,
boosting your lead generation significantly. Can we discuss this further in a scheduled call?"

Alan: "That sounds promising, but what about costs?"

OA: "Our services are cost-effective compared to internal hires, offering higher efficiency. Let’s discuss this
further in our upcoming meeting."

Alan: "Alright, let’s schedule it. How about next week?"

OA: "Perfect. What day works best for you?"

Alan: "Thursday works."

OA: "Great. How about 11 AM Eastern Time on Thursday?"

Alan: "11 AM works for me."

OA: "Excellent. What’s the best email address to send the calendar invite to?"

Alan: "Send it to alan.doe@example.com."

OA: "Thank you, Alan. I’ll send the invite right away. Could you please confirm once you receive it?"

Alan: "Sure, let me check."

OA: "Invite sent. Please let me know once it’s in your inbox."

Alan: "Got it and accepted."

OA: "Fantastic! Please ensure to accept the invite so my manager, Ryan, knows you’re confirmed. Thanks for
your time today, Alan. Looking forward to our call on Thursday at 11 AM."

Closing:

OA: "Have a great day, Alan. Take care!
