INTRODUCTION
These robots can vary from the most basic (following a single line) to
the robots that navigate mazes. All of them, however, possess (for the
general) certain basic common parts among all:
Sensors: A tracker detects the line to follow through sensors. There are
many types of sensors that can be used for this purpose; however, by
Cost and practicality reasons, the most common are infrared (IR) sensors.
which usually consist of an infrared LED and a phototransistor.
Motors: The robot moves using motors. Depending on the size, the weight,
the precision of the engine, among other factors, these can be of several types:
DC motors, stepper motors or servomotors.
Wheels: The robot's wheels are driven by the motors. They are usually used
anti-slip material wheels to prevent traction failures. Its size is
another factor to consider when building the robot.
Energy source: The robot obtains the energy it needs for its
operation of batteries or an alternating current source, the latter being
less used because it takes away the robot's independence.
JUSTIFICATION
The sound-following robot is a variation of the line follower in which the
the modification is that instead of sensing a white line, the robot will generate its
movement from a sound.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Use our knowledge of computer science and electronics to build a robot
sound follower.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
Being able to project the knowledge acquired through research and
inventiveness. Likewise, to already delve into awareness of what robotics is
through the construction of the same.

CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGY
An electronic circuit was designed for the sound follower, with part of the
previously mentioned components (Following the indications of a
Engineer).
The remote control cart is being dismantled to leave the part alone.
mechanics, likewise, the microphones are located in the casing with silicone.
Next, the electronic part and the mechanical part must be joined together.
the cart motors to the terminals that were left free in the circuit,
The microphones are also connected to the circuit.
At this point, the cart is tested to verify that everything works.
correctly.
Note: after following the procedure and verifying that everything works
The cart can be correctly covered with any 'skin' that one wants, whether it is
a bug, or a little dog or a little robot, this will not affect the functionality of the robot.
