I. Objectives
Learning competency: Enumerate and practice safety and precautionary measures in dealing
with different types of weather. S3ES-IVg-h-5
At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
a. Enumerate and practice safety and precautionary measures in dealing
with different types of weather.
b. Express their ideas about safety measures during different weather conditions.
c. Appreciate the value of readiness in dealing with different types of weather.

C. Generalization
Why should you practice safety measures in dealing with
different weather conditions?

IV. Evaluation (Differentiated Activities)

- Let us have a group activity, the class is already


divided into four (4) groups. Do the activities or task for 10
minutes.
- And the teacher will give another in each group and
every group will write 5 some safety and precautionary
measures appropriate during the weather condition they get.
- Each will get the following stars based on their output.

Group 1 (Windy Day) Art


Fix me (Jigsaw puzzle)
Complete and try to identify the kind of weather in the puzzle
and write 5 some safety and precautionary measures
appropriate during the weather condition you get.

Group 2 (Sunny Day) Art


Color me
Color the children wearing appropriate clothes for the
weather. And write 5 some safety and precautionary
measures appropriate during the weather condition you get.

Group 3 (Cloudy Day) Art


Cut me
Observe the objects, cut and paste the clothes we use during
cloudy day. And write 5 some safety and precautionary
measures appropriate during the weather condition you get.

Group 4 (Rainy Day) Music


Sing me
Sing the song with actions. And write 5 some safety and
precautionary measures appropriate during the weather
condition you get.

V. Assignment
On a piece of short bond paper, draw how you can
protect yourself from the different types of weather. Color
you’re drawing.
